In a shocking incident that has left the Balfour community reeling, four siblings, aged between 36 and 45, were arrested on Saturday, 17 August 2024, following the alleged gruesome murder of their 71-year-old father. The incident unfolded in the quiet town of Balfour, where the community discovered the lifeless body of the elderly man at around 11:00 AM.

The police and medical personnel were immediately called to the scene. Upon arrival, they found the victim on a couch with multiple visible gunshot wounds. Empty cartridges were scattered nearby, further evidence of the violent act. Unfortunately, the paramedics could only confirm the worst—the victim had already succumbed to his injuries.
